(Insane News) Harold Camping now says the world will end in October

From MSNBC.com

A California preacher who foretold of the world's end only to see the appointed day pass with no extraordinarily cataclysmic event has revised his apocalyptic prophecy, saying he was off by five months and the Earth actually will be obliterated on Oct. 21.

Harold Camping, who predicted that 200 million Christians would be taken to heaven Saturday before catastrophe struck the planet, apologized Monday evening for not having the dates "worked out as accurately as I could have."...

And my personal message to Mr. Camping?

  1. To be "fair" to this batty old wackjob, he always said the world would end in October - it was just the Rapture was to happen last week and then we'd all be living in Hell On Earth (and some other god-bothering BS) until The End Of Days in October.

I just can't understand the level of idiocy that could still buy into this con-man's patter!

But I guess that's what comes of believing in fairy stories and invisible friends who grant wishes...
